Marc Becker

Marc Becker is professor of Latin American history at Truman State University. His research focuses on the history of the Latin American left. Among his publications are The FBI in Latin America: The Ecuador Files (Duke University Press, 2017), Twentieth¬≠Century Latin American Revolutions (Rowman & Littlefield Publishers, 2017), Pachakutik: Indigenous movements and electoral politics in Ecuador (Rowman & Littlefield Publishers, 2011), Indians and Leftists in the Making of Ecuador’s Modern Indigenous Movements (Duke, 2008), and Mari√°tegui and Latin American Marxist Theory (Ohio University, 1993).
